Dubai's landmarks and how to see them well
Sightseeing in Dubai is mostly about timing. The Burj Khalifa's At the Top on levels 124 and 125 is cheapest in the middle of the day and most expensive in the sunset window between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM; the SKY experience on level 148 adds a lounge, a dedicated lift and shorter queues. The Museum of the Future sells out days ahead and only admits you at the exact slot printed on the ticket. The Dubai Frame is quiet first thing in the morning, and Ain Dubai, Sky Views Edge Walk and The View at the Palm are best at dusk.
At ground level, the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo sits inside Dubai Mall and pairs naturally with the Burj Khalifa on the same visit; the Dubai Fountain show runs free every 30 minutes from 6:00 PM. Seasonal attractions include Global Village and Miracle Garden from October to April, while Ski Dubai, AYA Universe and the Green Planet run year round and are fully indoor - useful in July and August.
All of our sightseeing tickets are skip-the-line where the attraction offers it, delivered instantly by email and scanned from your phone. Combo tickets - Burj Khalifa with the Aquarium, or the Frame with a city tour - cost less than buying each entry separately. Allow 90 minutes for the Burj Khalifa including security, an hour for the Frame and two hours for the Aquarium. Photography is allowed everywhere except a few museum galleries, tripods are generally not, and modest dress is required at mosques and heritage sites.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best time to visit the Burj Khalifa?
Non-prime slots before 3:00 PM are the cheapest and quietest. Sunset slots between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM cost more and sell out first, so book two to three days ahead.
Is At the Top level 148 worth the extra cost?
Level 148 includes a dedicated fast lift, a lounge, refreshments and far shorter queues, plus access to levels 125 and 124. It is worth it in peak season or if you dislike crowds.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No. Every ticket is a mobile e-ticket sent by email straight after booking and scanned from your phone at the entrance.
Which attractions are best in summer?
Indoor venues such as the Dubai Aquarium, Museum of the Future, Ski Dubai, AYA Universe and the Green Planet stay comfortable through July and August.
