Global Village is the closest thing Dubai has to a world's fair that happens every winter. Season 31 - themed 'A More Wonderful World' - opened on Wednesday 14 October 2026 and runs until May 2027, with country pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, hundreds of food stalls, rides, and nightly shows. Global Village tickets and prices
Last season's gate prices were AED 25 on weekdays and AED 30 on weekends, and Season 31 is priced in the same range. Buying online in advance is slightly cheaper than at the gate and lets you skip the ticket queue. Entry tickets include access to the pavilions and the main stage shows; rides at Carnaval, the Ripley's museum and some attractions are paid separately.

What's on in Season 31
The 'A More Wonderful World' season brings back favourites - Gardens of the World, Dragon Kingdom, the floating market, the main stage and the fireworks - alongside new attractions and a concert calendar. With more than 200 attractions and over 250 dining options, plan to spend at least four hours.
Don't miss the pavilions for Turkey, Pakistan, India, Yemen and Egypt for food and shopping, and the fireworks on weekend nights (usually at 9pm).

Global Village is in Dubailand, just off Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311). There is no metro stop, but RTA buses run every day from about 3:15pm to 11:15pm.

- By car: several free car parks; premium parking zones cost AED 75-200

Combine your visit with a morning desert safari or a daytime theme park and you have a full, varied day with no overlap.
- Arrive at 4pm opening on a Monday, Wednesday or Thursday for the shortest queues
- Avoid Friday and Saturday nights and public holidays unless you enjoy crowds
- Eat your way around - many stalls offer small portions under AED 20
- Bring cash for small vendors, although most accept cards
- Wear comfortable shoes: the park is large and you will walk several kilometres
- Leave before the last hour on weekends, when taxi queues are longest
