November is the month Dubai locals look forward to all summer. The heat breaks, beaches fill up, outdoor seasonal attractions reopen, and the city's sporting calendar kicks off. It is also before the Christmas and New Year price spike, which makes it one of the best-value months for a trip. Here is what to expect in November 2026, with event dates confirmed at the time of writing.

Dubai weather in November

Expect daytime highs of around 29-31 deg C early in the month, easing to about 27 deg C by the end, with night-time lows of 19-22 deg C. Humidity drops noticeably from October, rain is rare, and the sea is still warm at around 27-28 deg C - ideal for swimming.

Pack summer clothing for the day plus a light layer for desert evenings, which can feel cool after sunset late in the month. Sunscreen remains essential; the UV index is still high.

Dubai events in November 2026

Note: the Dubai Airshow runs in odd-numbered years, so there is no Airshow in November 2026 - the next one is in 2027. Always double-check final dates on official event websites before booking around them.

  • Dubai Fitness Challenge: 31 October - 29 November 2026 - free fitness villages and classes citywide
  • Dubai Ride: 1 November 2026 - Sheikh Zayed Road closes for cyclists

Best things to do in Dubai in November

November is the first month of the year when every outdoor experience is genuinely comfortable. Prioritise the ones that are unbearable in summer.

  • Evening desert safari - perfect sunset temperatures and clear skies
  • Global Village Season 31 - open since 14 October 2026 with new pavilions and shows
  • Dhow cruise dinner on Dubai Marina or Dubai Creek - the upper deck is pleasant again
  • Beaches: JBR, Kite Beach and La Mer before the winter crowds
  • Dubai Miracle Garden - check the current season's opening dates before visiting
  • Day trip to Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, BAPS Mandir and Louvre Abu Dhabi
  • Dubai Frame and the Burj Khalifa At the Top at sunset

What is closed in November 2026

Two big names are closed this season. The Museum of the Future closed on 1 September 2026 for a full exhibition overhaul and is expected to reopen in the first quarter of 2027; the building's exterior is still a great photo stop. The Burj Al Arab hotel is closed for an 18-month restoration until around October 2027, so city tours stop for exterior photos only.

Is November a good time to visit Dubai?

Yes - it is one of the best. The weather is excellent, the sea is at its warmest of the comfortable months, and hotel rates are typically lower than in December to February. The exceptions are the National Day weekend and major conference weeks, when rates rise. Book desert safaris and popular attractions a few days ahead, as November is peak tour season.

A 4-day November itinerary

Visiting on 22 November? Join the free Dubai Run in the morning - registration opens on the Dubai Fitness Challenge website - and you will see Sheikh Zayed Road car-free, which never happens otherwise.

  • Day 1: Old Dubai city tour (souks, abra, Al Fahidi) and Creek dhow cruise dinner
  • Day 2: Beach morning at JBR, Burj Khalifa At the Top at sunset, Dubai Fountain
  • Day 3: Morning at leisure, evening desert safari with BBQ dinner
